Hi, I just joined the Sweat365 community

I’m a man from Carlsbad California U.S.A., born in 1983.

My other favorite activities include: I enjoy football and baseball. Also getting to the gym and lifting some weights..

I’ve just started to really get into running. I ran my first 5K the other day (2.10.08) on short notice, but I did better than I expected. I think I’m addicted!

This is my training blog which I am using to keep track of my fitness progress.

First 5K

So this was my first 5K…and I loved it! I was talking to a friend of mine, telling her that I was running a 5K in May and she said she was running one in two days. She asked if I would run it with her and I wasn’t sure at first. I had started really getting into running three weeks prior. I agreed to do it and I’m glad that I did. The thing that I enjoyed the most about this event (besides the running of course) was how everyone was there for the same purpose and the health of everyone was a big priority! So to make a long story short i finished in 23:09! I’m starting to train this week for my next even in march!
